Stress, depression and anxiety have become more widely recognized and discussed within the entrepreneurial world. Stress is one of the greatest toxins to our body. As these toxins build up, we experience symptoms such as extreme fatigue, low mood, anxiety, high fever, hot flashes, swelling/redness and nausea.

Running a business creates emotional turbulence. Taking deliberate steps to detoxify and reduce stress are important, and often overlooked, aspects to success.

You may find yourself sitting most of the day at your desk, this can have a negative effect on your productivity, creativity and stress.

3 Digital detox
Comparing ourselves against everyone on social media and constant notifications interrupting our day can be unhealthy toxins in our lives. No worries you don’t have to give up digital completely but it is time to take control over your digital consumption
Tip? Schedule limited screen time! Stop at 9 pm at night to read your text! Your body will thank you for it!

4 How about a massage?
Massages are not only a great way to relax it also is a great way to remove toxins from your body.

5 Eating healthy foods
Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help you feel your best. A balanced and healthy diet is also key to helping our bodies to manage the physiological changes caused by stress. Choose whole, natural foods and ensure a minimum of five portions of non-starchy vegetables per day – and eat a rainbow!
